Life has been really busy around our house. It's been hard to even come up for air between blogging for thebigthink, helping the girls with school, helping new families, getting ready for open house last week, playing hubby's secretary, being wife, mom, housekeeper........should I go on? I'm not complaining at all! I love what I do, especially the part that involves my husband and my children. My personal blog is what has been neglected the most. When time is tight, something has to give.
I've had many visitors from the Daily Meme who I'm sure were looking to see if they would like to use the Tuesday's Tip meme. I'm so sorry that I've neglected to post how you can do that! If you'd like to do that, I now have it posted it at the bottom. I ask nothing of you, except to give credit where credit is due :)
My Tuesday's Tip:
For we dare not to class ourselves or compare ourselves with those who commend themselves. But they, measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise. (II Corinthians 10:12)
This tip is for me today! As I look at some of your blogs and realize that your doing school yet still keep up with your blogs, along with the rest of your life, I can get a little disgruntled with myself. But, when I read this verse I realize how unwise that is! My prayer is for myself to grow in the Lord's grace, knowing that I'm perfect just the way He made me. I shouldn't be comparing myself to anyone, but living for Him everyday.
AMEN!!! I love this...I am going to join in today of this little tip thing. We all have something to learn from each other.
ReplyDeleteSometimes appearances are not all they seem! :) Keeping up with a blog may mean neglect in another crucial area, so it seems to me that you have all your priorities in order. I pray for balance in my life every day as we continue to have demands of our time, and more requests to help here and there. Great verse and thanks for the Tuesday pick me up!
