Soap in a Crock-Pot

We had so much fun at the King's house yesterday making soap.

This is the shea butter and palm kernel oil.

What isn't photographed (because we were all gasping for breath) is the mixing of lye with water.

All the solid oils and liquid oils are mixed together, and then the lye water is mixed with a stick blender.

It then cooks in the Crock-Pot. This is at about one hour.

After about 2 hours and being stirred.

Then we poured it into molds.

And the final product....well, I haven't seen that yet!
