Thanks to Mr. Johnson @ 1st Monday Trade Days in Canton, TX

This is a special thank you to Mr. Johnson, who trucks his beautiful ferns from Florida to Canton, TX for First Monday Trade Days. I stopped at Mr. Johnson's booth to admire his beautiful ferns, and when I say beautiful, I mean absolutely gorgeous. I've never seen ferns in my life as healthy and full as his are. Being the curious person I am and wanting my weak looking ferns at home to look more like his, I just had to ask him how he did it. He grinned and told me that he'd be real surprised if I could grow ferns like his. He went on to explain he has spent a lot of money on all the equipment to grow his ferns and that I' d probably not get the same results. I appreciated his honesty, but he did give me a few secrets to helping mine become healthier. I'm not sure if he felt sorry for me and my inability to keep ferns looking great or what, but he turned around and grabbed a fern and said, "Compliments of me. Take it home, see how it does, and I promise that you'll be back year after year to buy more." I was so thrilled! I'd already decided that I just had to have one of the other varieties of his ferns, Kangaroo Paw Fern. Brent was so sweet to insist that we buy another Kimberly Queen so that they could grace the entry of our home. Thank you, Mr. Johnson! I will do my level best to keep your fern looking beautiful.
